Although I have studies several therapeutic modalities I am currently offering two individual therapies; Indian Head Massage and Reiki.
Indian Head Massage is a wonderful form of massage, relaxing and relieving the tension that we often carry in our head,neck, shoulders, jaw and scalp.
Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage is an integral part of the Ayurvedic healing system that originated in India, millennia ago, and has been passed down through generations. The art was developed by and for women in India with the aim of stimulating long, healthy hair.
Narendra Mehta introduced Indian Head Massage to the West in the 1970s when he came to the UK to study physiotherapy. While living in England, he realised that nobody was practicing Indian Head Masage. He decided to teach this ancient art as he missed the pleasure and theraputic benefits. He is now internationally recognised as an expert teacher of Indian Head Massage
Indian head massage is a technique of manipulating soft tissues in the shoulders and scalp. The therapist uses a range of different massage pressures and rhythms to stimulate the head and neck area. A typical massage lasts about 20 minutes.
Indian Head Massage usually begins with working on the the upper back and shoulders. A combination of deep massage techniques and using pressure pressure on release points helps to relax and loosen the muscles. Moving upwards, from the back into the shoulders and upper arms helps release tension in muscles (such as Trapezius and Levator Scapulae) to release stress and tension. This helps to alleviate headaches. It also improves the circulation of the cerebral spinal fluid. Continuing with the upward movement, the scalp is then massaged using techniques that stimulate, relax and revive the entire head and scalp. This increases circulation and promotes healthy hair growth.
Often, Indian Head Massage includes a gentle face massage to aid circulation, improve skin tone, and reduce sinus and headache problems.

Reiki is a type of subtle energy work to help facilitate the body's own healing, provide deep relaxation, , balance the chakras and help bring a person into alignment with their highest self. The AroselunA aspects Option brings you pure Reiki subtle energy work.

Improving mental functioning, your clarity and focus and overall sense of well-being.

Reiki also aids in achieving deep relaxation, deep restorative sleep and a calm body/mind/emotion.
Having trained as a Traditional Reiki Master Teacher with my lineage to Dr Usui, I try to adhere to a more Eastern Philosopy although, invariably as a Yorkshire Lass, it will be with a strongly Western level of understanding!
As there is a little time required to get to know each other a little and settle on the intention for the session, and as every session is different even with the same person, there is some natural variation in time and a session may last anywhere between 45mins - 1hr
Reiki is non-invasive, working on the subtle energy bodies (or aura), affecting the vibrational frequency to bring into balance and alignment. You receive this treatment fully clothed and for the most part I will hold my hands a few cm above your physical body. Whilst receiving Reiki you may experience warmth, coolness, tingles, tummy gurgles, nothing at all, or you may fall asleep - all these experiences are perfectly natural. There may be times when gentle touch would be beneficial, with your permission of course, but this is always noninvasive and avoiding any sensitive areas. This vibrational energy then works through the subtle layers to affect the physical body and the effects of the Reiki session may continue to work their way through for the next 2-3 days. You can aid this by following a vegan or vegetarian diet and drinking plenty of water.
